SACO- Madeline N. Riesold, age 94, passed away on Sept. 17, 2022, at Maine Medical Center in Portland.
She was born in Massachusetts on July 15, 1928, a daughter of the late Warren and Evelyn (Tewers) Dorr.
Madeline will always be remembered for the enjoyment she had with her cats, being an animal lover, doing puzzles, coloring, and watching horror movies and soap operas; however, it was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren that was most important to her.
She is predeceased by her husband- Bernard Riesold Sr. in 1997; her brothers- Robert, Kenneth, and Edward; sisters- Dorothy, Shirley, Marjorie, Paulette, Edna, Sandy, and Ruby; and a son-in-law- Dennis Watson.
Madeline is survived by her children- Janice Watson of Saco, Linda Hettling and her partner Philip of Saco, and Susan York and her husband Philip of Casco; sisters- Maxine and Florence; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a dear friend- Nancy York.
A graveside service will be held on Friday at 2 PM at Calvary Cemetery, 1461 Broadway, South Portland.
