Jean D. Griffon, 96, of Derry, NH, went to be with her Lord on Saturday September 17, 2022 in the Parkland Medical Center in Derry. She was born in Athol, MA on June 1, 1926, a daughter of the late Amos and Ethel (Smith) Denno. She had been a resident of Derry for many years. Jean had been employed in the library at South Range School in Derry, and later worked for many years in the Children’s Room in the Derry Public Library. She was a person of very strong Christian faith.
She is survived by her son, Thomas Griffon of Derry; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Jeremiah Griffon in 2011, and her siblings, Amos Denno Jr. and Shirley Webster.
Private burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in East Derry next to her husband.
