Obituary

Marie Andrelia Jaboin known as Manman Dé, born Elisma, age 99 years 11 months, and 4 days, peacefully passed away on September 7, 2022 surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren. Born on October 3rd 1922 in Mayette, Cotes-de-Fer, Haiti to the late Dornélia Rosélus and Durosse Elisma. She predeceased her loving and adoring spouse and soulmate of 72 years, Destiné Jaboin.
She was a caring and loving mother of 8 and his survived by her 7 children: Solange Jaboin, Renaud Jaboin and his wife Marie- Lourdes Jean-Louis, Jean-Claude Jaboin and his wife Margareth Dérosema, Destine Jaboin Rimpel and her husband Luc Joseph Rimpel, Claudette Jaboin and her husband Marc- Grégoire Dérissé, Rodrigue Jaboin and his wife Yanick Nemorin, Claude Joseph Jaboin. She was predeceased by her son Jean Mary Jaboin and his living wife Mireille Coquillon.
She was blessed with 20 grandchildren: Sandra S Cherubin, Wesley Pierre-Marie Jaboin and wife Rose Mélie Jaboin, Jerry Stanley Chérubin, Cassandra Jaboin-Lyncée and husband Claude Angelo Lyncée, Junior Renaud Jaboin, Dimitri Stanley Rimpel, Stéphane Vladimir Rimpel, Gerald Néré Jr, Sandy Jaboin, Claudia Venessa Néré, Jennifer Jaboin Roseau and her husband Philippe Roseau, Roghandi Destiné Jaboin, Vladimir Néré , Melissa Destine Rimpel, Regine Francesca Jaboin, Claudjena Christara Jaboin, Jonathan Elien Néré, Danvick Jaboin, Keisha Jaboin, Brayton Joseph Jaboin. She was fortunate to enjoy her 9 greatgrandchildren: Dashon Aramis Cherubin, Elianna Marley Jaboin, Jerrymiah Chérubin, Jordan Jean Mary Jaboin, Leo-André Jaboin, Phillipe Jude Roseau, Cassian D. Alvin Lyncée, Mia Joie Roseau and Maximus Josef Rimpel.
She is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews and nieces, great-nephews, great nieces, and countless friends. She was many things to many people. She was a generous, gentle, good-natured, considerate and caring woman. She was a hard worker, shrewd entrepreneur, a strong advocate of education. She was spoiled by her paternal grandmother, who hid her home to prevent her from getting beaten by school teachers. She pushed her children and grandchildren to always seek more knowledge. She was a dedicated devotee of her church and community. She imparted her wisdom and knowledge of commerce to many women around her. She will be missed and remembered for her kindness, love and mostly her generosity.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the wake at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St Canton, MA 02021 on Friday September 16th, 2022 from 4-7 pm. Funeral mass will be held at Immaculate Conception 122 Canton St. Stoughton, MA 02072 on Saturday September 17th, 2022 starting at 10:00 AM. Burial at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree, 700 West St, Braintree, MA, 02184. The burial will follow with a reception at “Soley Leve” at 61 Pleasant St, Randolph, MA 02368.
