Sherry L. Bastian, 68, of Tifton passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 15, 2022, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Glenn Ford officiating. Ms. Bastian will be laid to rest at Floral Memory Gardens in Albany at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 15, 2022. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 15, 2022, at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Keith Hubbard, Joe Rizzo, Johnny Walker and Nick Gale will serve as pallbearers.
Born July 20, 1954, in Albany, Ms. Bastian was the daughter of the late Robert J. Bastian and Eloise “Lu” Jewell Bastian. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Tifton and she was an honorary member of the Tifton Moose Lodge.
Sherry was our angel here on earth. She had the sweetest smile. She was kind and helpful in every way to all she met. She had an unconditional love for her family as well as all animals, especially her Yorkies, Macho and Smokey. She touched many people’s hearts in her lifetime and will continue on the minds and hearts of a great many forever.
Ms. Bastian is survived by two sisters, Becky Henderson of Chula and Nina Hubbard of Thomasville; her aunt, Helene Foltis; her nieces and nephews, Nikole (Scott) Waldrep, Keith Hubbard (Laura), Cody Henderson, Carmen Mosley (Nick) and Nikki Henderson (Koal); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Brooke Cearley, Lily Waldrep, Scott Waldrep, Harper Klapheke, Addison Mosley, Brayden Gale, Dawson Gale, Alanna Edney and Connor Henderson Wilder; two great-great nieces; and numerous cousins.
