In Boston, Zoila Mizhirumbay, age 24, passed away in Tuft’s Medical Center following a lengthy illness on September 12, 2022 while surrounded by her loving family. Zoila was born in Ecuador, the daughter of Manuel & Maria Mizhirumbay of Berkley. She also leaves her loving companion Washington Alvarez and her beloved daughter Kima Alvarez.
Zoila had been a resident of Berkley since 2015; she was a graduate of Brockton High School and was attending U-Mass Dartmouth University. She enjoyed taking photos, sewing and making clothing, shopping, and above all spending time with her family.
Zoila also leaves her siblings; Digna, Fanny, Frank, Melanie and Jesseny all of Berkley. She also leaves several nieces and nephews and cousins. Funeral home visiting hours will be held at the O’Keefe Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Friday, September 16th from 5-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, September 17th at St. Mary’s Church in Taunton at 11:30am. Burial will be in Berkley Common Cemetery in Berkley.
