Judith L. Merrill (Corkhum) of Malden passed away on September 9, 2022. She was 66 years old. Born in Boston, she was the cherished daughter of Cynthia A. (Kelsey) and James R. Corkhum of Winthrop.
Judith was employed as a speech and language therapist, working with children six months to three years old. She graduated from Worcester State College with Bachelor’s Degree and later went on to receive her Master’s Degree from the University of Miami.
Besides her parents, Judy is survived by her dear brothers Jimmy Corkhum and Ken Corkhum and his wife Meghan both of Winthrop and Scott Corkhum and his wife Janice of Lynnfield. She was the loving aunt of Michael, Haley and Hannah Corkhum.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. Winthrop on Wednesday, September 14, at 10AM. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment will be in Winthrop Cemetery (Belle Isle Section). Visiting hours will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-8PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the Kaplan Family Hospice House 78 Liberty St. Danvers, MA 01923.
