Richard “Dick” Minton age 77 of Plaistow, NH, died Thursday at the Lake Region General Hospital, Laconia, NH.
He was born in Lowell, MA, grew up in Norwichwalk, Maine. He was a resident of Plaistow, NH for the past 15 years, formerly of So. Lawrence, MA, and Lowell, MA.
Mr. Minton was a retired Maintenance Mechanic for Wang Labs in Methuen, MA. He had previously worked for Educator Biscuit in Lowell, MA for many years. He was a US Army veteran, serving in the Korean War. He attended St. Patrick Church in Pelham, NH, and a member of the Lowell Grange. He enjoyed fishing, camping, bowling, golf, and camping.
He is survived by his wife with whom he celebrated 52 years of marriage on May 15 Joan (Genereux) Minton of Plaistow, NH

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, May 23 at 10 AM at St. Patrick Church, Pelham, NH. Cremation will follow, and inurnment will be held Thursday, May 25 at 12 noon at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH.
Calling hours will be held Monday, May 22 from 4-8 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH.
