Michael J. "Mike" Ramsey, 78, of Anderson died September 6, 2022 at his residence following an extended illness.
Mike was born April 10, 1944 in Springfield, Ohio, the son of Joseph T. and Jean M. (Cockrell) Ramsey.
He retired from Delco Remy production after 32 years. He attended St. John's Lutheran Church. He was a member of the National Rifle Association, coached Little League for 11 years and enjoyed tinkering with his cars.
He is survived by his four daughters, Christine Geisinger, Kimberly Ramsey, Michelle (Wes Miller) Bankson and Andrea (Shannon) Phillips all of Anderson; eight grandchildren, Justin (Amanda) Ramsey, Megan (Cody Miller) Lee, Matthew (Serina Stinson) Bankson, Miranda Bankson, Tyler (Hailee) Geisinger, Brylee Naselroad, Jace Phillips and Myah Phillips and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at East Maplewood Cemetery at 1:30 pm with Ned Clark officiating.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am - 1:00pm on Saturday at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
Memorial contributions may be given to Charity of the Donor's Choice.
