MUCCIACCIO, Robert P. Age 77, of Walpole formerly of Dedham and Placida, FL, September 5, 2022.
Beloved husband of Maureen (Grondine) Mucciaccio for 56 years. Devoted father of Lisa Murphy of Norton, and Rob Mucciaccio and his wife Liz of Omaha, NE. Grandfather of Katie, Sophie, Jack, Toni, Olivia, and Carly. Brother of Anthony (JuJu) Mucciaccio of Dedham, Billy Mucciaccio and his wife Maureen of Dedham, Tommy Mucciaccio and his wife Michelle of Attleboro, and Jerry Mucciaccio and his wife Missy of Holliston. Bob was preceded in death by his father Tony and his mother Rose.
He was born December 6, 1944 in Dedham, MA, to Tony and Rose Mucciaccio, the third born of five brothers. He graduated from Dedham High School in 1962, married Maureen Grondine in 1966, and had two children, Lisa and Rob.
His business, RPM General Contracting of Walpole brought together many craftsmen, gave others a start in the trades, and did some fine work that will stand for years to come.
Bob loved to golf, play cards and spend time with his family and friends. He was a quick wit, and his generosity touched many. He was a longtime member of the Walpole Country Club.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, Sept. 10 from 8:30-10:30am at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 11;00am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment in Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.
