Donna J. (Crimmins) McQueen, age 77, passed away on Sept. 1, 2022 at Baystate Medical Center. She was born on Nov. 1, 1944 in Somerville, MA, a daughter of the late James and Ruth (Miller) Crimmins. Donna worked as a secretary for the Boston Army Base for many years before she retired. Donna is predeceased by her husband James McQueen who passed away in 2009. She was a member of the Moose Family Lodge in Chicopee and loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her beloved son Robert McQueen and his wife Melanie of West Springfield; her step-daughter Kimberly Bates and her daughter, Jenna Bates of Weymouth, MA; two sisters, Elizabeth Stewart of Durham, NC and Patricia Sievens of Lynnfield, MA; two grandchildren Patrick and Stephen McQueen and one step grandson Taylor Black. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will miss her dearly. Calling hours will be held on Friday, Sept. 9, 2022 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee.
