Ruth Lillian Dost

At the young age of 96. Ruth passed peacefully at the Bear Hill nursing facility in Stoneham Ma.
Ruth was the daughter of late Ethel Cuff and Claude Stellberger. She had one brother that proceeded her death, William Stellberger of Woburn Ma. Ruth has three children, Denine Dost and her deceased wife Maura of Melrose, Dennis Dost and his wife Karen of Saugus and Debbie Barton and her husband John of Greensboro NC. Grandmother to Dennis Dost and his wife Sandy of Atkinson New Hampshire, Malissa Tucker and her husband Robert of Elkton Maryland, David Dost and his wife Andrea of Saugus and Jeffrey Barton and his wife Logan of Greensboro NC. Ruth was also blessed with 11 great grandchildren. Samantha & Nicole Dost; Sarah, Hannah & Josiah Tucker; Paige, Dakota & Ethan Dost; Charleston, Burkleigh, & Patterson Barton.
Ruth was born in Boston and has been residing in Melrose for the last 70 years.
She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Melrose and worked with the elderly for over forty years. Throughout life, Ruth enjoyed traveling all over the world. Europe, Hong Kong, Bahamas, Ireland, Australia, Alaska, Hawaii, The Caribbean, Canada and most of the United States. With money tucked in her bra and her bags always packed, if you asked, she was ready to go!
