Obituary

Francis J. "Bud" Curley, 71, of Port Richey, Florida, died Thursday, May 11, 2006 at the Regional Medical Center in Bayonet Point, Florida. He was the beloved husband of Claudette (Labbee) Curley.
Born in Harrisville, a son of the late Owen and Mary (Malley) Curley, he was a Smithfield, RI resident for 35 years before moving to Port Richey, Florida, 13 years ago. He was a retired customer engineer in technical support with 32 years of service for IBM. He was a recipient of the IBM Means Service Award four times. He was an Army veteran. He was a Charter 4th Degree member of Knights of Columbus, Pascoag Council and a communicant of St. Philip Church in Greenville, RI. He was a past member of Glocester Country Club.
Besides his wife he leaves two sons Brian Curley of Coventry and Todd Curley of Glocester; three daughters, Coleen Curley of Glocester, Diane Roberts of Smithfield and Cheryl Palombo of Glocester; a brother, Russell Curley of Connecticut; a sister Ann Pezzullo of Arizona; and six grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Robert Curley and Patricia Villari.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, May 26th at 11am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville, RI. Interment will follow the mass in RI Veteran’s Cemetery, Exeter, RI. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Avenue, Greenville, RI 02828.
