Rochdale – Neal T. Morang, 62, of Rochdale, passed away on Monday, August 22, 2022 while vacationing in Laconia, NH.
Neal is survived by his wife of 39 years, Cheryl (Davis) Morang; his two children, Bryan Morang and his longtime girlfriend, Amanda DeLuca of Rochdale and Sean Morang, his wife, Margaret and their son, Jackson Morang of Cherry Valley; a brother, Michael Morang of Auburn; two sisters, Jean Leavitt of Oxford and Lisa Postma of Douglas; and his mother-in-law, Ruth Davis, of Auburn.
Neal was born in Worcester, son of the late Gilbert and Florence (George) Morang. He worked for many years as a die maker for the Kinefac Corporation.
A musician and longtime Beatles fan, Neal relished playing his guitar for family and friends. Neal enjoyed the comedic escapades of Monty Python and was an avid bird-watcher but he was the happiest when he was cooking for his family and spending time with his grandson.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 1 at 10am in Notre Dame Cemetery 162 Webster St. Worcester. A Celebration of his Life will be held at a later date, to be announced. Memorial contributions in memory of Neal may be made to the National Audubon Society
