In Taunton, Magayaga “Norma” B. O’Neill, age 69, passed away peacefully in Morton Hospital following a period of declining health on August 24, 2022. Magayaga was the loving wife of the late Robert O’Neill. She was born in Salud, Bolinaro, Republic of the Philippines, the daughter of the late Clipol Baugan & Coronacion (Quilinderino) Baugan.
Magayaga was a resident of Taunton. Her greatest joy of her life was becoming a Mother to her daughter Yolanda. She was a devoted and proud Mother, Wife and homemaker. She was known for her gardening; she could make anything grow. She grew the most beautiful flowering plants. She was an avid knitter, and loved to make cable knit sweaters, blankets and gifts for her family and special people in her life.
Magayaga “Norma” is survived by her beloved daughter Yolanda O’Neill, one brother Jim Baugan, her step daughters, sons and in laws; Colleen and Peter Maccini, Tara and Paul McCabe, Robert and Eileen O’Neill. Her family in the Phillippines will be honoring her; she will be dearly missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren and friends who were all a part of her life.
