Wife of the late Albert F. Shaughnessy, Sr. Loving Mother of Albert F. Shaughnessy, Jr. and his wife Alice of Randolph, Paul G. Shaughnessy and his wife Cindy of Braintree and Robert M. Shaughnessy of Dorchester. Sister of the late Robert Hanrahan. Devoted Grandmother of Eric, Bridget, Amy, Paul Jr., Maura, Allison and Christopher Shaughnessy.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Friday at 9 AM.
Funeral Mass in Saint Ann's Church, Wollaston at 10:00 AM.
Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM.
Burial in New Calvary Cemetery, Boston.
Rita was born in Quincy and lived in South Boston for many years before moving to Quincy in the early 1970's. She worked at Blinstrom's Restaurant in South Boston for 16 years before retiring in 1985. She was a devoted Mother and Loving Grandmother to her family. Her family was her entire life.
