COCO, Angelina Linda of Dedham, August 24, 2022. Beloved wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother, daughter, sister, friend. Angelina was born in 1936 to the late Linda and Thomas Otone Grasso in East Boston, MA. Her husband, Salvatore John Coco adored her, always has and always will. He referred to her every day as his Bride. They were devoted to each other for 70 years. She was the loving mother to five children and their spouses: daughter Angela Coco, daughter Carmela Scena & husband Robert, son Sal Coco & wife Christie, son John Coco & wife Wendy and daughter Dianne Coco & husband Rufino. She was also the loving grandmother to nine grandchildren Michael & Carly Scena, Shawna Campbell & David Marks, Justin & Jennifer Coco, John Coco Jr., and Joseph & Nicholas CocoGenitti. Also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.

Angelina was an impressionist painter. She enjoyed using watercolors to create mostly landscapes and still lifes. Angie served nine dedicated years as president of the Dedham Art Association and was also an active town member in Dedham. Ann, as her husband called her, loved to cook and taught her children the art of creating the best Italian dishes. She loved flowers. Gardening was a passion. Angelina loved music, and playing the organ was yet another hobby. She also loved following Salvatore's lead when he took her out to dinner and ballroom dancing. They were known to glide across the floor with big smiles on their faces. Angelina also loved to play games with her children. Scrabble was her ultimate favorite, but card games or Tripoli were as fun for her as well. Her biggest passion was being a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved filling her home with joy and laughter for her family.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church, 420 High St., Dedham, Monday, Aug. 29 at 10:30am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment in St. Michael Cemetery, Roslindale.

In lieu of flowers, donation checks in Angelina's memory can be made out to the Dedham Art Association, 347 Sprague St., Dedham, MA 02026 to fund art workshops and scholarships.
