Born March 10, 1928, in Canton, MA, to James F. and Hazel R. (McDonald) Kelleher, Jim grew up in Stoughton, MA, graduating with the Stoughton HS class of 1946.

In 1963 the Kelleher family moved from Stoughton to Franklin where they lived in the same house on Maple Street for more than 50 years.

In retirement Jim rekindled his love of music and often played the organ for Sunday services, weddings, and funerals, at St. Mary’s and several other churches in the Franklin area.

Jim was preceded in death by Florence, his wife of 66 years.  He is survived by his children, Catherine (Timothy) Brock, Jane (Robert) Miceli, Mary, Elaine (Thomas) Monahan, Paula (Timothy) Fahey, James M. (Karen) Kelleher, Francis (Patricia) Kelleher, Margaret (Marc) Maietta, and Joanne (Kevin) Lessard.

Jim was especially proud to be grandfather to eleven boys, six girls, and great grandfather to six.
