Andrew J. Bernard, 86, of Bradenton, FL died Aril 24th at Bradenton Medical Center in Bradenton, FL.
He was born in Lawrence, MA where he grew up and graduated from Punchard High School in Andover, MA. Andy had been a long time resident of Salem, NH before moving to Florida 10 years ago.
Andy was in the 100th Infantry Division Association of the US Army during WWII. He was the owner and operator of Andy’s TV & Appliance in Lawrence, MA. He was a member of the VFW Post 8546 of Salem, NH and a member of the Knights of Columbus Bishop Peterson Council #4442 of Salem where he was a Fourth Degree Knight and a Past Faithful Navigator. Andy was an avid Red Sox fan and an avid newspaper reader.
He was predeceased by his wife Grace C. (Dooley) Bernard and his son Wayne Bernard.

Sister: Theresa Finnigan of Seabrook, NH
Grandchildren: Bryan and Kimberly Niemcewicz.
A Memorial Mass will be held Monday at 10 AM at St. Joseph’s Church in Salem, NH. Family and friends may gather for memorial visitation on Sunday from 4-7 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.
