Obituary

Lisa A. Hansen O'Neil, a 20 year resident of Woburn and formerly of Charlestown, entered into eternal life suddenly on her birthday while sleeping at her home in Woburn on Tuesday, August 16, 2022. She was 53 years of age.

Lisa was born in Boston on August 16, 1969, a daughter of the late Paul F. Hansen and Diane G. (Farrell) Hansen. She grew up in Charlestown where she was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from Charlestown High School in 1987. Lisa furthered her education and received her Associates Degree from Bunker Hill Community College. Lisa worked most of her adult life in the medical profession as a Administrative Secretary for several doctors offices and hospitals.

Lisa's family was her pride and joy in her life. She took great pleasure and enjoyed all the family meals and cookouts she shared with her family and she especially enjoyed the trips to Florida with her grandchildren where they would walk the beach together. She was so very proud of her 5 grandchildren and took great pleasure spending the quality time with each one of them individually.

Lisa is the beloved wife of 30 years to Robert J. "Robbie" O'Neil. She is the devoted mother of Ashley Rose Miller and her husband Jeff, Sergeant Shawn Paul O'Neil, U.S. Army and Robert James O'Neil Jr. She is the loving and proud Grandma to Mairead, Lilija, Eliza, Morgan and Meadow. She is the beloved sister of Anne Marie Hansen, Paul "P.J." Hansen and his wife Kim Weafer and the late Michele Hansen. She is the loving aunt to Nolan, Seamus and Alannah. She is also survived by her many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Lisa's Funeral on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at 10 A.M. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, 55 Warren St. Charlestown at 11 A.M. Her burial will be private. Her visiting hours will be on Monday, August 22, 2022 from 4 to 7 P.M. in the funeral home.
