Gerald L. “Gerry” Grace, 68, of Countryside Lane, Scituate, died Sunday, August 14, 2022 at his home with his family by his side. He was the husband of Maryann (McDonald) Grace.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late William D. and Norma L. (Joost) Grace. He had lived in Scituate for the past 43 years.
Gerry worked for Pepsi-cola as a truck driver for 35 years before retiring. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson. He had volunteered for several years for the MS Bike tour and enjoyed sailing with the cousins club. His grandchildren were the love of his life and enjoyed playing with them.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his son, Dr. Robert Grace and his wife, Kerri of North Scituate, his grandchildren: Jameson and Lilian Grace, his brother, Michael Grace of Virginia and nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 9am from the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Our Lady of Grace, George Waterman Road, Johnston. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, 4-7pm.
