Obituary

WEBSTER -- Raymond E. Choiniere, 89, died Monday, May 15, in Webster Manor.

He leaves two brothers, J. Armand Choiniere of Winston-Salem, NC, and L. Roland Choiniere of Webster; a longtime friend, Russell Braman; and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by 3 sisters, Yvonne Belleville, Ernastine Barsalou and Eunice Dudac.

He was born and raised in Webster, son of Elzear and Anna (Parenteau) Choiniere. He was a sergeant in the Air Force during World War II, serving in Africa.

He worked for the New England Telephone Company and retired many years ago.

He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and was an adorer at the Blessed Sacrament Chapel.
He enjoyed traveling and had many other interests.

The funeral will be held Friday, May 19, from Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main St., with a Mass at 11:00 AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 16 East Main St. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. A calling period will be from 9:15 to l0:15 AM Friday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Anne Elementary School, 12 Day St., PO Box 818, Webster, MA 01570-0818
