Obituary

WEBSTER – Angela D. “Jean” (Halko) Spahl, 90, of 39 East Main Street, died Friday, May 12, after an illness. Her husband, Oscar R. Spahl, died in 1964.

She leaves a son, Leonard J. Spahl and his wife Mary Kay of Byram Township, NJ; 2 brothers, Ronald Halko of Amherst and Henry Halko of Boston; 2 sisters, Jennie Claprood and Teresa Kaliszewski, both of Webster; 4 grandchildren; a great grandchild; nieces and nephews.

She was born in Worcester, a daughter of Alexander and Anna (Kulbacki) Halko. She lived in Woodstock, CT, before moving to Webster.

Mrs. Spahl was a secretary at New England Power, now National Grid, for over 20 years. She retired in 1991.

A funeral Mass was held in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 16 East Main St. Burial was in St. Joseph Garden of Peace. Calling hours were private. Donations in her name may be made to Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 16 East Main St., Webster, MA 01570
