STANDISH- Robert M. Black (Bob) 76 of Standish passed on Aug. 10 th in Portland. He was born in Sanford to Gardner and Goldie Black.
Bob had a wood business for many years then went on to be a security guard. Bob was an avid NASCAR fan. While living in North Carolina he was security guard at the racetrack.
Bob is predeceased by his wife Barbara and his 4 sons. Robert Jr., Donald, Michael and David, and 14 of his siblings.
Bob was one of the youngest of 16 children and is survived by his sister Doris McConihe of Buxton, stepson Donnie Heath and wife Pam, stepdaughters Della, Donna and Tersa and daughter in law Melissa St. Hilarie, several grand and great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be on Sept. 18th 12pm at Dow Cemetery, in Standish.
