Christine Ann Silla of Miami, FL passed away peacefully at home on August 4, 2022, with her
family by her side at the age of 90. She was born August 2, 1932, in Long Island, New York to
parents Elizabeth and James R. Tomblin. She had a brother, Edward H. Tomblin, who she loved
and adored. Her family then moved to Boston where she met and married the love of her life,
Anthony J. Silla.
Christine was a kind and gentle soul who extended her hand and that beaming smile to
everyone she met. She was elegant and charismatic, yet her appeal was so unassuming. She
was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend. She
was loved and adored and will be missed more than words can say.
Christine is survived by her five children Scott, Mark, Toni, Guy, and Tina. Her grandchildren
Michelle, Maurizio, Nicole, Katie, Jason, Chance, and daughter-in-law, Sarah.
Viewing will be held on August 11, 2022, at Dello Russo Funeral Home from 9am-11am

In lieu of flowers a charitable donation in Christine’s name to the Alzheimer’s Foundation, or St.
Jude’s Children’s Hospital can be made for those wishing to do so.
