Obituary

Julia (Twarog) Pinciak, 93, a longtime Chicopee, MA resident, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 6 at Nevins Nursing and Rehab Center in Methuen, MA. She was the widow of Edmund Pinciak who passed away in 2015.

A daughter of the late Walter Twarog and the late Stefania Twarog, she was born in Ludlow, MA on April 19, 1929. She was raised and educated in Ludlow, MA.

She was employed as a Clerk with Stop and Shop in Springfield, for many years before her retirement .

Julia was a volunteer receptionist at The Council of Aging in Chicopee where she enjoyed helping her neighbors. She enjoyed the Senior Center and participated in many of their activities. An avid arts and crafts fan, she made many keepsakes for her family. Always proud of her Polish heritage, she enjoyed cooking Polish foods and listening and dancing to the Polka .
Above all else, her family was her world and she will be sorely missed by all of them.

Her survivors include her children, Daniel Pinciak and his wife, Nancy, of Methuen, Robert Pinciak and his wife, Ann, of Myrtle Beach, SC, her grandchildren, Laurie Pinciak of Uxbridge, Amy Demers and her husband, Joseph, of Dracut, Kristen Pinciak of Methuen, Nathan Pinciak of Medford, Christopher Pinciak and his wife, Sarah, of South Carolina and Jeffrey Pinciak of North Carolina. She is also survived by her beloved great grandchildren, Emily Joy Demers of Dracut and Charlotte and Cameron Pinciak both of South Carolina and her sister, Jean Woodall of Rocklin, California.

All are welcome to attend her funeral service which will take place at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, 800 Montgomery Street, Chicopee, MA at 12 noon on Thursday, August 11, 2022. Arrangements from McDonough Funeral Home, 14 Highland Street, Lowell, MA.
