Stanley P. Zmuda, 93, of Westport, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Saturday, August 6, 2022. He was the husband of Pauline (Osga) Zmuda, they were married for 68 years.
Born in Fall River, son of the late Philip S. and Stanislawa N. (Wadarski) Zmuda, he had lived in Westport for the past 25 years. A United States Army / National Guard veteran, he served his country for 24 years as a sergeant. Prior to retirement, he was a configurations manager at Raytheon and also Honeywell. He was a member of the Tiverton Yacht Club, where he loved to sail and race. Mr. Zmuda was a man of strong faith and loved his family.
Including his wife, survivors include 2 sons: Stanley P. Zmuda of Westport and Mark D. Zmuda and his wife Beverly of Fall River; a daughter: Sandra A. Boehmler and her husband Erick of Rochester; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was brother of the late Genevieve Ball.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Saturday, August 13, 2022 at the Potter Funeral Home at 10:30 A.M.
Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 - 10:30 A.M. prior to the service.
Interment will be in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
