Marjorie A. Varnerin, 88

Dateline: Norton, MA

Marjorie A. (Aho) Varnerin, age 88, most recently of Hyannis, formerly of Norton and Braintree, passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis. She was the beloved wife of the late Herbert A. Varnerin.

Born in Boston, MA on June 6, 1934, she was a loving daughter of the late Weiko and Mary (Keefe) Aho.

Marjorie grew up in Quincy and was a graduate of Quincy High School. A former longtime resident of Norton and Braintree, she had worked as an executive assistant for the National Fire Protection Agency in Quincy. She loved spending time in the presence of her adoring family and was a communicant of Saint Mary’s Church in Mansfield.

She is survived by her devoted sons: Carl F. Varnerin and his wife Evelyn of Mashpee and Kevin C. Varnerin and his wife Laurel of Georgia. She was the cherished grandmother of Sarah Buckley and her husband Jon, Samantha Varnerin, Christopher Varnerin, Chad Varnerin and Lee Varnerin.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, August 26th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 27th at 12:00 Noon in Saint Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt Street (Route 106) Mansfield. Burial will follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Mansfield.
