West Baldwin - Frances Hope Robinson, 92, of West Baldwin died on July 30, 2022 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough. She was born in Hollis, Maine on November 30, 1929, a daughter of Leroy and Laura (Jordan) Hubbard and was educated in Limington schools.
She worked at the Cornish Dress Shop, also known as Cornish Sportswear, for 30 years. She later worked many years for the Hanold Co. in Standish, then finished her career at Wickers Sportswear in Wolfeboro, NH. where she worked with her daughter.
She enjoyed camping and canoeing with her husband, the love of her life, Richard Robinson. She also enjoyed crocheting, reading, jigsaw puzzles, video games and watching the Red Sox. She will be sadly missed by all who loved her.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Richard K. Robinson. Also her son, Paul Reed, her daughter, Linda Peters and her son-in-law, Gerald Peters. Surviving are her son, Lawrence "Larry" Reed and wife Barbara of Limington, her sister, Thelma Libby of Arizona, her loving grandchildren: Eric Reed, Troy Reed, Ethan Reed, Heather Hernance, Tommy Day, Chris Day, Jamie Day, Brian Peters, Tracey McGary and Tiffany Burt. Also many great and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service was held at Steep Falls Cemetery and she was laid to rest next to her husband. Arrangements are respectfully handled by Poitras, Neal and York. Online condolences may be expressed at: www.mainefuneral.com
