Anna M. Clements, 64 of Derry, NH, died Sunday, May 14, 2006 in the Parkland Medical Center, Derry. Mrs. Clements was born in Dungannon, VA on June 29, 1941, a daughter of the late Fleetwood and Lilly Mae (Bright) Gibson. She was a resident of Derry for 35 years, formerly living in Arlington, MA. Mrs. Clements had worked as a nurse’s assistant at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester for 4 years. A life long “Southern Gal” she was a homemaker who enjoyed keeping a spotless home for her loving family. She was an excellent cook and truly enjoyed the simple things in life.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Robert Clements of Derry, four children, William Michael Fannon of New Ipswich, NH, James Paul Fannon of Summerville, SC, Sandra Ann Fannon of Derry and George Robert Clements Jr. of Raymond, NH, six grandchildren, a brother, Walter Gibson of Dungannon, three sisters, Nina Arwood of Kingsport, TN, Nancy Grady of Brownsville, PA, Melvia Bishop of Rye Cove, VA and also by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five brothers and sisters.
Following cremation a memorial service was held on Thursday, May 18, 2006 at 3:00PM in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry.
