Mrs. Jayne E. (Brown) Matheson, 65, of Dracut, passed away with her loving family by her side on Monday, July 25, 2022, the daughter of the late Fredrick and Jean (Carney) Brown she was born in Lowell on May 15, 1957, and had been an area resident all her life. She retired from Wang Laboratory where she worked as a technician. Jayne enjoyed going on vacations, and spending time surrounded by her family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Robert J. Matheson of Dracut, three sisters: Donna and her husband Syd March of Billerica; Patricia and her husband Robert Donovan of Pelham, NH; Kathleen and her husband Michael Renaud of Litchfield, NH. Two brothers: Kenneth Brown and his wife Hedgie of Tewksbury; Frederick Brown III of Billerica. She also leaves behind many special nieces and nephews that she loved and adored. Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, July 28, 2022, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Edgar J. Racicot Inc. Funeral Home, 1400 Broadway Rd., Dracut. Mrs. Matheson’s funeral procession will begin on Friday, July 29, 2022, at 9:00 am at the Racicot Funeral Home, followed by her funeral Mass that will be celebrated at 10:00 am at St. Francis Church, burial will be in Lowell Cemetery.
