Peter J. DiFronzo, of Stoneham, formerly of Somerville, passed away on Wednesday, July 20th. He was 84. Born in Boston, he was the cherished son of the late Americo and Florence (LoPilato) DiFronzo.
Peter enjoyed playing slots at Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun, spending time with Audrey at their time share in Aruba, and planning when the next family BBQ would be at his house. Peter was a loving husband, a great father, the best Papa, brother and friend. He will be missed by all.
Peter was the beloved husband of 56 years to the late Audrey (Vannelli) DiFronzo. He was the devoted father of Michael DiFronzo of South Carolina, Michele Lindsey and her husband Steven of Tewksbury, and Tracy Olson and her husband Ken of Acton. He was the loving Papa of Marissa, Nicole, Trevor, Jack, Liam and Michaela. He was the dear brother of Richard DiFronzo and his wife Joanne of Woburn, and the late Arky DiFronzo and his surviving wife Maureen, Americo DiFronzo and his late wife Anna, Robert DiFronzo and his surviving wife Ann Marie “Honey”, Ann Marie Venzia and her late husband Lorenzo and Elaine Laurila.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with the family on Tuesday, July 26th from 9 to 11 AM at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, followed by a funeral service celebrated in the funeral home at 11 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
