Linda Joan Preston (69) passed on peacefully at home surrounded by the love of her family and friends following a long illness. She is also predeceased by her sister Carol Preston and her twin brothers Robert Preston and Richard Preston. She is survived by her sister Maureen DeSimone of California and her brother Larry Preston of Massachusetts.
Linda leaves behind her loving family which includes Linda’s daughter April Grudzien (Wilcox) & her husband Randy Grudzien and Linda’s granddaughter Sarah Grudzien all of Manchester, NH. Linda’s son Chris Wilcox, his life partner Shannon Wolanski and Linda’s grandchildren Amber Malo (Wilcox), Heather Wilcox and Linda Wilcox all of Oxford, MA. Linda’s son Jason Wilcox, his wife Gwen Wilcox (Smith) and Linda’s granddaughter Diantha Smith all of Leicester. Linda was also great grandmother to Thea, Calvin, Layla and Lucas. Her ex-husband George Arsenault and his children Dina and Joceline were also a special part of her life. She is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins whom she loved very much as well. We will all miss her every moment of every day.
Linda was an artist. Her creativity was boundless and she could see wonder and art in everything she looked at. She had many friends in many places. She looked forward to seeing her Rainbow family and all the adventures that brought her with her dear friend Marie. Her vast circle of friends (too many to name) included life-long friendships with Jeanie, Joceline and Nora who all held special places in her heart. She was passionate about a lot of things, she loved the ocean and was a patron of the Bread and Puppet theater in VT as often as she could get there, it was one of her most sacred places. Music moved through her and she loved to laugh and dance.
As a free spirit in life so she is in death, free to fly with arms spread wide and a smile on her face.
A celebration of life ceremony will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the JHC Hospice Team 629 Salisbury St Worcester, MA 01609.
