Obituary

.L. Roger Giguere 70 of 58 Rivulet St. Woonsocket, died Friday in Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of Jean K. (Cole) Giguere. Mr. Giguere was born in Woonsocket a son of the late Roch V. and Beatrice (Lafleur) Giguere. Mr. Giguere was a parts manager for 35 years for several area Ford Dealerships including Jack Madden in Norwood, MA retiring in 1993. He was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Giguere was a member of the Woonsocket Lodge of Elks.

Besides his wife he is survived by a son Clive E Giguere of N. Smithfield, two daughters Kathleen Giguere-Dowling of Grand Rapids MI, and Leslie Napolillo of Rockford MI, two brothers Albert Giguere of Pawtucket, and Roland Giguere of Debary FL, two sisters Alice L’Heureux of N. Smithfield, and Rita Blais of Manville, and five grandchildren.

His funeral will be held Tuesday at 10:00 from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 in St. Charles Church, N. Main St., Woonsocket. Burial with Military Honors will be held in St. James Cemetery in Manville. Visiting hours are Monday 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers donations to the Amer. Heart Assoc. Hearts Gifts Processing Center PO Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220-3049 in his memory would be appreciated.
