Obituary

Ann (Rittenhouse) Bonner, age 80, of Boxford, formerly of Winchester, passed away on July 16, 2022. She was the beloved wife of Joseph W. Bonner.

Born in Rochester, NY, Ann was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Marion (Williams) Rittenhouse. She was raised and educated in Winchester, MA and graduated from Winchester High School with the class of 1960.

Ann was a longtime employee as an Administrative Assistant at Tufts University. In her spare time she volunteered at Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue, where she served on the Board of Directors. She was also an avid horse-lover and owner of American Paint Horses.

In addition to her husband, Ann is lovingly survived by her children: Jack Mawn and his wife Amy of Harwich, David Bonner of Lake Oswego, OR and Shawn Bonner of Lakeview, WA. She was the loving grandmother of Emma Mawn, Liam Mawn, Lucy Mawn, Colton Bonner, Rhylee Bonner, Will Bonner and Alisa Bonner.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather for a Visitation at the Costello Funeral Home, 177 Washington St., Winchester, on Saturday, July 23 at 9:30AM, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, 155 Washington St., Winchester, at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Winchester.
