Julia P.( DiFiore) DeLorey, 65, of Mansfield died on Saturday May 13, 2006 at The Bay Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Brockton, MA She was the beloved wife of the late David DeLorey to whom she was married to 7 years at the time of his death.
Born in Attleboro, MA on May 15, 1940 she was a dear daughter of the late Joseph P. and Princess M. (Delliacono) DiFiore, Sr.
She was educated in Mansfield schools. She was self-employed and had worked at home as a Jewelry Worker for 15 years before retiring in 1997.
She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Mansfield. In addition to spending time with her family and friends, Julia enjoyed trips taken to Foxwoods Casino. She was a lifelong resident of Mansfield.
She is survived by her devoted daughters Renee L. Hancock and her husband Erek of Brockton and Leah J. Howe of California. Her brother and sister Vincent P. DiFiore of Rehoboth and Donna G. DiFiore of Plainville. She was the sister of the late Joseph P. DiFiore, Jr. and Pauline M. Coubron. Julia is also survived by her cherished grandson Ryan Collins of Carver as well as several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Thursday May 18th at 9:30 A.M. from the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home 55 North Main St. Mansfield followed by a mass of Christian burial celebrated at 10:30 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church 330 Pratt St.(Route 106) Mansfield. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Mansfield.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday May 17th from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
