FALL RIVER - Antonio J. Borges, age 70, residence 6 Grove St., Fall River, MA, died Wednesday at home. Husband of Maria Lorena (Felix) Borges. He was survived by one son: Manuel Felix Borges and his wife Donna of Fall River, two daughters: Maria J. Borges of Fall River, Lucy M. Pacheco and her husband Albert of Assonet, one grandson: Zachary Keith Borges, one brother: Manuel Correia Borges of Sao Miguel, Azores, and several nieces and nephews. He was also brother of the late Jose Correia Borges.
Born in Candelaria, Sao Miguel, Azores. Son of the late Manuel Correia Borges and the late Serafina Dos Anjos Borges. He was a Fall River resident for 32 years. Before retiring, he was a Landscaper for South Shore Nursery. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church.
His private funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 No. Main St., Fall River, MA.
