Norma Jean Pridgen, 79, of Ocilla, Georgia died Friday, July 8, 2022, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Monday, July 11, 2022, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Ocilla, Georgia, with the Rev. Johnny Hightower officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends Sunday evening, from 6 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home in Ocilla.
Mrs. Pridgen was born April 4, 1943 in Alapaha Georgia, to the late Jim Henderson Hall and Myrtle Lee Whitley Hall. She was a deeply spiritual woman, who lived a life of love and caring for others. She loved the Lord, keeping her grand-babies when they were young, quilting with her sister, and enjoyed singing, sewing, painting, cooking and gardening. Those who visited her were often blessed with a walk through her flowers. The life she lived was as beautiful as the flowers she grew.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years Donnie Pridgen of Ocilla; 2 sons David Pridgen & Renee of Ocilla, and Greg Pridgen & Aynne of Acworth; 3 grandchildren Rachel Rocha, Summer Pridgen and Kaiden Pridgen; 3 great grandchildren Maddux Brija, Meadow Rocha and Micah Rocha; Siblings Jimmy Hall, Bobby Hall, Junior Hall and Jeanette Young. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers Roy Hall and Tillman Hall.
