Obituary

Joseph A. Cormier, 71, of Palm Harbor, FL died May 12, 2006 at Morton Plant Hospital after a brief illness.
He was the husband of Prudence "Prue" (Manley) Cormier.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Arthur and Adele (Cormier) Cormier, he lived in New Bedford most of life before moving to Palm Harbor, FL in 1989.
Mr. Cormier was a communicant of St. Luke's Church in Palm Harbor.
He was formerly employed as a driver and sales representative for many local bakeries for many years until his retirement.
Mr. Cormier served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of the men's golf league and the New England Club of Highland Lakes.
Survivors include his wife, 2 daughters, Christine A. and Diane R., and her husband Samuel E.; a sister, Diane Doyon of Clearwater, FL; a granddaughter, Vanessa M. and a grandson, Samuel T.

FLORIDA SERVICES
His Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 15th at 10 AM in St. Luke's Church, 2757 Alderman Rd., Palm Harbor, FL 34684.

MASSACHUSETTS SERVICES
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home for Funerals, 50 County Rd., (Rt. 6) Mattapoisett Thursday, May 18th at 9 AM. Funeral Mass at St. Anthony's Church, Mattapoisett, MA at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Visiting hours Wednesday, May 17th from 7-9 PM.
Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, New Bedford, MA.
