SALEM - Stefan Luzinski, 87, husband of the late Irene (Andrews) Brown Luzinski, formerly of Salem, died Wednesday evening, May 10, 2006, in the Pilgrim Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center, Peabody, following a long illness.
Born in Salem, he was the son of the late Konstanty and Maryanna (Dobrosielski) Luzinski.
An Army veteran of WWII, he served with Company A., 357th Infantry Regiment in the European African Middle Eastern Theater and attained the rank of Private First Class.
Prior to his retirement in 1983, he was employed at the former R & K Precision in Middleton for 18 years.
A resident of Salem for most of his life, he was a former member of the Polish Falcons, Nest #188 and the Witch City, Post 1524, VFW, both of Salem.
He is survived by two step-sons and spouses, Charles W. & Susan Brown, Daniel A. & Patricia Brown and one step-daughter and her spouse, Diane E. & Robert Allen, all of Rochester, NH, 8 grandchildren, I great grandchild and several nieces and nephews and cousins.
His funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2006, at 9 am from the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 am at the St. John The Baptist Church, Salem. Visiting hours are Monday, 4 to 7 pm. Burial is in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
