Alice M. (Marguerite) Braga 81, a longtime Franklin resident died Wednesday May 10, 2006 at her home following a long illness. She was the wife of the late James M. Braga who died in 1994.
Born in Franklin, July 30, 1924 a daughter of the late Salvatore and Angelina (Faenza) Marguerite, she lived in Franklin most of her life and was a 1942 graduate of Franklin High School.
Mrs. Braga was a retired cashier having worked for many years at the former Saltman and Peerless Department Stores in Pawtucket.
She was a member of the Franklin Senior Citizens, The American Association of Retired Persons and was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church.
She is survived by 3 sisters Emma Young and Edith Sabbag of Franklin, and Angelina Cook of Plainville, and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Anthony C., Louis J. and Michael J. Marguerite and Rose Davis.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Saturday May 13, 2006 at 1:15PM from the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. with a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church 1 Church Sq. FRANKLIN at 2PM. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
