
Beverly: Leone M. (Roy) Doucette age 87, formerly of 73 Margin St., Peabody, died Tuesday at the Ledgewood Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center in Beverly. She was the wife of the late Henry Doucette.
Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Owen and Eva (Pelletier) Roy. A resident of Salem for many years, she was bookkeeper for the former LaPointe Home Fuel Oil and Trucking Company of Salem. Following her retirement, Leone and her husband spent the summers in Wakefield, NH and wintered in Hollywood Florida. She returned to the north shore in 2004 and was a resident of Sunrise Assisted Living at Gardner Park.
She is survived by her devoted sister-in-law Rita Roy of Peabody, a nephew: Robert R. Roy and his wife Carole of Beverly, 3 nieces: Elizabeth Michaud and her husband Kenneth of Florida and New Hampshire, Constance St. Pierre and her husband Louis of Salem, Anne Marie Barthelemy and her husband Raymond of Maine, a cousin: Raymond Vaillancourt of Salem. She is also survived by several grandnieces and grandnephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral mass on Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at 11 am in St. John the Evangelist Church, New Balch St., Beverly.
