Adalyn Belle “Addie Belle” Smith, 3, of Tifton passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2022, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Steve Davis and the Rev. Gary Cadwell officiating. Addie Belle will be laid to rest at Baker Cemetery in Berrien County. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 24, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Clay Tucker, Russ Tucker, Jeffery McClendon and James Wilson will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Clay Stone, Robert Marchant, Chauncey Spencer, Ronald Taft and Wesley Stephens.
Born December 28, 2018, in Tifton, Addie Belle was the daughter of Clay Smith and Jodi Robinson Smith of Tifton. She was preceded in death by three siblings and her great-grandparents, Bud and Ellie Mae Hancock, Hayward Samuel Robinson, Ed and Laverne Kerr, James Clifford Smith and Dan and Doris Drawdy.
Addie Belle was truly one-of-a-kind. She was a major mama’s girl; her daddy’s little sidekick and her sister was her very best friend. She had a laugh that could brighten anyone’s day. She loved life and lived every moment of her short time here to the fullest. She was always ready to play in the puddles, dance, sing or go for a golf cart ride. She especially loved riding her pony, Pete. She was tiny but never knew it. She had more spunk and sass than anyone you will ever meet. She was loved by so many and has made more of an impact in her three-and-a-half years than most do in a lifetime. She will be greatly missed but she will never be forgotten.
In addition to her parents, Addie Belle is survived by one sister, Gracelyn Mae Smith of Tifton; her grandparents, Derek and Debbie Robinson (Papa and DeeDee) of Tifton, Shelia and Jerone Rigdon (Nana and Papa) of Nicholls and Kevin and Ann Smith (PawPaw and GiGi) of Nashville; her great-grandparents, Sandra Smith (Nanny), David Bales (Papa Dave), both of Sweetwater, Tennessee and Carolyn Drawdy (Granny Carolyn) of Tifton; her aunts and uncles, Jack and Brandi Weeks, William and Becca Smith, Karmon Warren and Tammy and Eric Gray; and her cousins, Spencer Weeks, Jackson Weeks, Dallas Weeks, Harlie Smith, Brynlee Smith, Paislee Warren, Chelsea Champion, Payton Purcell and Bristol Gray. She was loved by many other aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and her church family.
