Harold F. Case Veteran

Harold F. Case, 83 of Londonderry, NH passed away at his home on June 15, 2022 after a long battle with cancer. Harold was born in Manchester, NH to Raymond E. and Emma G. (Sheldon) Case. He had seven siblings, all are predeceased. He joined the Navy in 1956, serving as Petty Officer First Class and becoming an electrician. After discharge in 1959, he joined Honeywell, enjoying a successful 40+ year career. In the 70’s Harold built a house in Auburn, where he served on the Auburn Vol. Fire Dept. In the 80’s Harold and his wife Judy built a home in Londonderry. He was a lifelong avid snowmobiler and was active in many organizations, including the Hudson Sno-Men, (President, Board member}, NHSA (President, Board member), ASCA (Co-Chair) and ISC (Chair). Harold was honored with the NHSA lifetime achievement award in 2018, the Iron Dog Brigade inductee 1992, Snowmobiler of the year 1994-1995, and in 2001 was Snowmobiler Magazine’s “Most Valuable Snowmobiler”. He was inducted into the Intl. Snowmobile Hall of Fame in 2005. Since 1975, he was active in the Easter Seal Ride-In which has helped raise over $1M for Easter Seals and Camp Sno-Mo. In his spare time, Harold and Judy loved to go camping in their RV and deep-sea fishing with his friends and family.

He leaves behind his wife of 42 years, Judy (Jordan) Case; his only child, Catherine (Case) Dionne; two grandsons, Joshua and Benjamin; and his great-granddaughter Alexandria Dionne; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Following cremation, calling hours will be held on Friday, June 24th from 9:00am – 11:00am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. The family recommends masks be worn by all attendees. A graveside service will immediately follow in the Pillsbury Cemetery, Hovey Rd., Londonderry.
