Obituary

MARINO, Paul A. of Dedham, formerly of Roslindale, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2022. Paul was born in Boston, the son of the late Charles Marino and Catherine Marino (Montalbano). Devoted husband of 54 years to his beloved bride, Catherine Marino (Rodenhaven), brother to Vincent Marino and his wife Betty of Dedham and the late Richard Marino and his wife Beth. Loving and devoted father of Christopher C. Marino of Canton and Paul V. Marino and his wife Alana of Westwood. Cherished Grandfather of Paul A., Sasha, Olivia and Julia Marino. Beloved Uncle to Vincent Marino and his wife Liz and Richard Marino. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, cousins, salon patrons and friends. Paul served 14 years in the U.S. Army as an Army Reservist and owned and operated Paul’s Hair Stylist of Dedham for over 60 years. He was a former president of the Dedham Lions Club, Cabinet Secretary Treasurer for Massachusetts Lions District 33 K, recipient of the Melvin Jones award, member of the Italian American Citizens Club. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours at the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre Street, West Roxbury on Sunday, June 26, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Services from the funeral home on Monday, June 27, 2022 at 8:30 am, followed by a Funeral Mass at Holy Name Church, 1689 Centre Street, West Roxbury, MA 02132 at 9:30 am. Paul will be laid to rest at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, 990 LaGrange Street, West Roxbury, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations in Paul’s memory may be made to the Lions Clubs International Foundation, 300 W. 22nd Street, Oak Brook, IL 60523-8842.
