Paul J. Marion, 73, of Derry, NH, died Monday, June 20, 2022, in High Point Hospice, Haverhill, MA. He was born in Methuen, MA on November 6, 1948, a son of Thomas and Jeannette (Theriault) Marion. Paul was a Cub Scout Leader for many years and volunteered for REACT, a non-profit highway rescue organization. He was also a proud business owner, working out of Methuen and Lawrence, MA for many years. He retired from Loomis Armored US after over 20 years of service as a money courier. He will be lovingly remembered as Daddy-o, Papa, Buddy and Grumpy.
He is survived by two sons, Thomas E. Marion and his wife Tracy of Weare, NH and Dennis R. Marion and wife Jylle of Derry; two daughters, Jaqueline M. Marion of Canton, MI and Christine D. Marion of Manchester, NH; five grandchildren, Dennis John, Kevin, Hannah, Stephanie, and Trevor; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Leonard Marion of Baltimore, MD and Edward Marion of Methuen, MA, as well as many nieces and nephews. Paul is predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Denise (Devoe) Marion and two brothers, Roger, and Andrew Marion.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, June 26, 2022 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry, NH.
