Darlene (LaFrance) Boutin, 67, of Westport, passed away on Father's Day, Sunday, June 19, 2022 at St. Anne's Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of Marcel E. Boutin.
Mrs. Boutin was born in Fall River, daughter of the late Roger and Marion (Miller) LaFrance and had resided in Westport since 1975. She was an avid gardener and crafter and an excellent cook. She loved traveling with family and taking trips to the casino. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren.
Survivors along with her husband include her 3 sons: Marcel E. Boutin, Jr. and his wife Joy of Fall River, Jamie J. Boutin and his wife Inez of Westport and Matthew Boutin of Rehoboth; his daughter: Beth Ann Silva and her husband Jason of E. Providence; 2 brothers: Roger J. LaFrance of New Bedford and Kevin LaFrance of FL; 5 grandchildren: Nicholas, Samantha, Dustin, Dylan and Gabrielle; 4 great grandchildren: Ava, Dustin, Jr., Reagan and Payton; and she was like a grandmother to Jorja, Brearly and Zephyr.
She was the sister of the late Cheryl Graham and Lisa Joy LaFrance.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at St. John the Baptist Church, Westport at 10:00 A.M.
Interment will be in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
