Libby G. Fulgione Sr, 81 of Stoneham died Tuesday after a brief illness in the Melrose Care Center Melrose, MA.
Born in Boston, he lived in Stoneham and formerly of Medford. Libby was the son of the late Mary (Mastrolla) and Gregory Fulgione. Mr. Fulgione was the former proprietor of Apex Cleaners in Somerville for 40 years and retired in 2000. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WW II as a Navigator. After the war he received his law degree from Suffolk Law School through the GI Bill.
Beloved husband of the late Irene M. (Rogers) Fulgione. Devoted father of Kenneth Fulgione and his wife Muriel of Eau Claire, WI, Libby Fulgione II and his wife Kelly of Stoneham. Loving grandfather of Brittany, Catherine, and Kyna. Also survived by 2 loving great grandchildren. Brother of Gregory Fulgione and his wife Ellie of Lawrence.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD on Monday May 15, from 4 thru 8.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 1 PM in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
