Obituary


Maureen (Ferris) Constantine, 81, of Medway, Massachusetts (formerly of Natick, Massachusetts), passed away peacefully surrounded by her children and grandchildren on Thursday, June 16th, 2022. She was the beloved wife of William Constantine who died in September of 2021.

Born on August 29, 1940, in Boston, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Thomas P. Ferris and Theresa Flaherty of Ireland. She is survived by her sister, Barbara Ferris Dias of Norwood, deceased brother Tommy Ferris of Brookline and deceased brother of James Ferris of Duxbury, MA.

Devoted Mother of her four children and thirteen grandchildren. Daughter Kelli and husband Philip Fleming of Barnstable, MA and their children Brendan and wife Sarah, Kathryn, Michaela, and Mackenzie. Eileen and husband John Aviza of Medway, MA and their children Johnny, Austin, Shannon, and Isabelle. Daughter Annmarie and husband Daniel Morini of Foxborough, MA and their children Madison, Morgan, and Anthony. Son Michael and wife Allyson Constantine of Scituate, MA and their children, Julia, and Jack.

Maureen cherished 61 years with her true love, Bill, and the life they shared with their children, son/daughter in laws and grandchildren. She loved her family vacations to Disney World and New Hampshire, spending summertime on Cape Cod. One of her greatest joys was helping to raise her grandchildren and spending time with friends at the Medway restaurant.
We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to the staff and nurses at Maples Rehabilitation and Nursing Facility in Wrentham, for the loving and dedicated care they gave to Maureen.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, June 22 from 3 pm – 6 pm in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber Street in Medway (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com)
Burial will take place privately at Bourne National Cemetery at a later date.
