SPRINGFIELD – Annunziata “Nancy” (D’Amato) Botta, 85, of the Forest Park section of Springfield, was Called Safely Home on Friday, June 17, 2022. She passed into Eternal Life at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born in Bracigliano, Italy on May 14, 1937, a beloved daughter of the late Giuseppe and Filomena (Cardaropoli) D’Amato. She was raised and educated in Bracigliano and immigrated to Springfield with her husband and children on May 14, 1972. Above all, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who showered her family with her love and affection that was returned to her a thousand fold. She leaves her beloved husband and soul mate, Geremia Botta. They were married on January 6, 1963 at Chiesa San Giovanni Battista in Bracigliano and were blessed with over 59 years of happiness together. She also leaves her four loving children, Anna B.
