Raymond Russell Stogner, Jr. passed away peacefully on June 3, 2022.
He was born on August 3, 1949 in Norwalk, Ohio. After graduating from high school in 1968, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served his country for 4 years, including one year in Vietnam.
Ray's career as a Dental Laboratory Technician brought him great joy. He was an artist and a skilled craftsman and throughout his career he created functional works of art for countless patients. In his words: "I am very proud of the work I do, I love the people I work with and feel I've been very fortunate."
Ray was deeply loved by his work family at Dr. Sporborg's office. We feel fortunate to have known him, and we will miss his easygoing personality, wonderful laugh, words of wisdom, and his wry smile.
He survived by three daughters: Jennifer, Rebecca, and Keli, all of Ohio.
A Veteran's service and burial will take place at the Massachusetts Military Cemetery in Bourne on June 28, 2022 at 9:45 a.m.
Ray's wish was that remembrances of him be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
